Hello people!

From top left clockwise: soya sauce cabbage and broccoli with japanese tofu, eggs and crabsticks; sambal tumis telur, kentang & ikan bilis; sunset yesterday; terrible hairy spider that was at my window and stayed in the same position the whole day last Sunday.

Anyway, winter break is here! I'm leaving in a couple of hours to Marseille and Nice! :) Among other towns I will be visiting will be Aix-en-Provence (to meet the nice old lady who hosted me 5 years ago), Cannes, St. Tropez etc.

Please pray for my safety. :)

Ok I better START packing now. See you all on the 4th!

Hello!

This is just a shoutout to both darlings Jacqueline + Felicia who sent me lovely letters! It was meant for V-day but I just got it today.. so now we know it takes 2 weeks!

Yay thank you girls so much! Am going to put the pretty letters up on my wall. :)

Hello everyone,

So this should be my last post for the whole of next week; am very busy with work (and I'm on exchange!) and classes will stretch till 8 or even 9 pm (thanks to makeup classes). I expect to be very tired and suffering from lack of sleep! :(

Upcoming things next week (in chronological order)

EU Law presentation
Geopolitics presentation
Contemporary French test
Final submission of E-business plan (10 000 words!)
E-business website prototype

I will try to survive this terrible week because insya-Allah, I will be heading to Marseille and Nice (again after 5 years!) next Saturday with Susi for 8 days! Final itinerary has yet to be planned (we are planning to visit nearby towns as well) but Susi has been great with booking the train tickets online... Armed with our 'powerful' cameras, ok, only hers, we will be busy taking photographs and enjoying the warmth of le Sud! ;)

Bonjour tout le monde,

So here I am in school in the computer lab and trying my best to use the French keyboard; it's taking me twice as long to type this and then when I go back, I'll make mistakes on my own keyboard!

Happy birthday to my auntie! Please send me stuff from Singapore. :D

On food-related news, here's a list of some of the things that I've made this week... Photos may be up later!

French Toast
Yummy fried chicken marinated with corn flour, curry powder and cumin
Chicken ham and mozarella sandwiches
Fried mixed vegetables

Ok that's all! Having a meeting with Kristin now for our EU Law presentation... Next week's going to be a rough week the whole week! :(

The chef is back! :)

From top left clockwise: Mixed vegetables consisting of cabbage, broccoli, carrots, onions, crabmeat and egg; scrambled eggs with crabmeat that had white cheese in it; ayam kicap tomato with broccoli and onions; prawn noodle soup with egg, broccoli, onions and white cheese crabmeat.

Ok I'm going back to sleep. :)

PS: Nobody gets away with pangseh-ing me! Grrr.

I am undecided in the cause of my sickness; so far it's a toss-up between the stuffy bus that propagated the germs between the students and the oily tuna croissants I brought along. On a brighter side, I am feeling much better with plenty of sleep. Work still awaits. :/

Until Picasa/Hello decides to reinstate Bloggerbot, I think I'll just upload my photos to a web album from now on. It is so painful to have to select the photos I want to upload one by one instead of the usual multiple selection all at once.

As I am all for leading a healthy lifestyle, (and I needed to cook my fish), I decided to make the above!

Ingredients: Ikan Bilis stock, ground ginger, chopped red onions, carrots, cabbage, broccoli, eggs as well as sliced fish marinated with chilli powder and salt. :)

Am heading to Mont St. Michel for the whole of tomorrow! :)

Thai Pineapple Rice

Hello lovely people!

I have just made pineapple rice (with real pineapple!) today and am quite proud of it! Among other ingredients were crabmeat, red onions, carrots and garnished with fried onions. Yum yum! :)

To add to the happy news, my bandwidth has been increased to 6 GB this month! Just in time to watch American Idol. :) Of course, this merits another pretty photo of my pineapple rice.
